I also like the speed and flow of Black Powder/Hail Caesar - not the least of which unit removal vs. individual casualty removal. Great to see you bringing out and using your fine 15mm ACW figures. I much prefer 25/28 mm troops myself; I twice started 15mm ACW armies and twice abandoned then after painting 1 infantry, Artillery, and Vavlary unit for each army; I just don't enjoy painting 15's. However, as you say, there are advantages to the smaller scale, and with the huge start you already have in 15mm, it would seem senseless to me to start ACW armies all over again in 28mm. Save that for another of those many periods you want to do... and add a just a few new units to your Civil War armies so that they fell loved, too! :-)Gonsalvohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16531623280789478092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2759788396515762996.post-68598164441109391712014-05-24T08:43:32.938+01:002014-05-24T08:43:32.938+01:00That's a great report, love the mass effect on...That's a great report, love the mass effect on the beautiful pictures...Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08913029478686087197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2759788396515762996.post-20120536679320191542014-05-24T08:38:15.187+01:002014-05-24T08:38:15.187+01:00Great looking game and very nice write up. I think you did a fantastic job, regardless with detail or not, recreating the stages of your ACW Black Powder game and with excellent photos, terrain and the miniatures are well painted (even after ten years) still look marvelous, a great game - battle report. My favorite unit are the Louisiana Tigers really nice. I like your Spartacus idea that would be cool to see!

cheers,Phil Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02369365598439913360noreply@blogger.com
